Updates: First class, new book & news

My first class on September 7th went very well. I had intended on taking pictures, but I forgot my camera!

Three most excellent ladies attended – all very pleasant, creative and a joy to teach. I hope they show up for the more advanced class in October.

I’ll be teaching the same class again at the end of the month (30th of September). Maybe this time I’ll remember my camera…

I also made a new book – the covers are made from polymer clay. I call it the “Dreambook”. The photo was taken by a very able photographer in a real photography studio where I stood for 4 hours straight, moving from table to table styling my shots.

AND I sent off my application for the Atlanta Craft Mafia’s HO HO HO-MADE HOLIDAY TRUNK SHOW. It’s going to be tough to get in, but this is my first try! It’s a one-day show at the Solarium in Decatur – great spot too. Keep your fingers crossed!

  ARRRT! is the brainchild of Alexia Petrakos. Ok. Brainchild is a bit pretentious, but it's her creative playground of sorts. She makes and sells one-of-a-kind journals, handbags & other fun stuff. She also dabbles in mixed media art, collage & painting.
