This fake left hand by Wee Shop is perfectly creepy and will fit with my whole studio decor. I found a mannequin hand one day and kept it on my bookshelf ever since. I like hands.

I’m also a sucker for cute little things like this Panda and Girl art doll set in their own box. It’s a little pricey but man if I had the cash, I’d SO lay down some on this. From Danita Art.

Dance Sippy Dance makes all kinds of creepy-cute (yes, I’m a big fan of this) prints and sculptures. I’ve been a fan of this artist for years. This print would be a perfect (and inexpensive!) addition to my collection.

Skullflower makes all sorts of mexican-art inspired skulls (aka calavera) and crosses. As a huge fan of skulls, and purple – this is a great combination!

The art journals I make always have a button closure. I’ve used regular buttons, ceramic buttons & polymer clay buttons but now I’ve found my new buttons! Made for Fun makes buttons from beach stones that have been worn away by the sand and salt water. I can’t wait to get my hands on some of these for my next journal.

I know I blogged her before, but Junqe by Mandy Jordan is such a fabulous shop. I hung a little curios box on my studio wall and need to fill it with stuff. It’s house-shaped so to further the house theme I bought this mini abandoned house sculpture. At 2 3/4″ tall, it’ll fit perfectly into one of the niches. I’m way big on texture and the detail and texture on this house rocked me.

This little spotted bunny won my heart. I’m starting to collect miniature things for that curios box I mentioned previously and figured I’d need a few animals. All proceeds from sales of the ceramic bunnies on Woven Dreams‘ shop go to rescuing domestic bunnies.

This print from Clementine Press made me giggle. As a musician/artist who is married to a musician/sound engineer I SO got this. It’ll be going in a nice frame and on a wall in my husband’s recording studio in the basement.

Yellena’s art caught my eye a few years ago and I finally bought one. I love her use of color, the organic shapes mixed geometric ones & great lines… As someone who loves texture, the layers in this piece are just yummy. (Yeah, I said yummy. deal with it!) She sent a lovely postcard sized print along with it and a thank you card with her own artwork on it. Definitely going up in my art studio.

And lastly I bought a Moo Card holder from DearSukie. The plastic Moo card holder I got directly from Moo kept on flipping open and I lost more cards than I handed out. This one snaps shut so the cards are secure. She has lots of patterns in her shop for more than just Moo cards – she makes all kinds of wallets from paper and vinyl.

Next up we have these delicate copper pinwheel earrings from Nova Designs. The earwires are argentium silver so those with metal sensitivities won’t have to worry about copper earwires. Each pair is unique due to the patina – and I love the verdigris patina on copper.

Wardomatic‘s Jazz Print would look great in my living room! Definitely captures the coolness of jazz.

Lastly, Leah Piken Kolida’s shop Blue Tree Art Gallery has lovely prints, and this is by far my favorite. Keep it up Leah!

This week I’m featuring Ingrid Dijkers, a jewelry artist from Michigan. Her limited edition mixed-media “Vessel Collages” are superb and I definitely would love to own one… or two.
